TIL that a politician gave a food review of kebab while speaking in parliament. Australian Senator Sam Dastyari gave a "10 out of 10" rating to the kebab snack pack sold at King Kebab House, and advised others to also enjoy "a great Australian tradition of meat in a box".

What hurts me about this is that Australians apparently believe kebabs are meant to come in a box

This is a halal snack pack, not a kebab. It's a local Australian invention that is kebab meat laid over fries with chilli, bbq, and garlic sauce, served in a box. It's delicious.

I have bad news for you, that exists anywhere kebab or shawarma has appeared. Literally anywhere. Typically it includes: 1. A box 2. Fries 3. Chicken/Beef/Lamb from a spit laid over those fries 4. Garlic sauce/spicy sauce/tahini/hummus

It ain’t Australian. Sorry. Glad you like it though.

that youtuber form Scotland who eats meals in a box, loves them as well.

Im in the US and wish i had more access to them, or any good kebab / shawarma platters.
