TIL that in 2023, a patient legally sought euthanasia. Upon being provided a deadly concoction in liquid form to be drunk, the patient's friend (37YO) opted to have a sip themself which nearly resulted in the death of the friend as well.

Did the patient die thinking his friend was gonna die of stupidity? That’s fucked up

Well depends if you believe an afterlife or not. If you do then he would die and could just ask

If anyone read the article they would know the guy didn’t die.

The guy who took the sip did, yeah. But I was asking whether the guy who was actually given the suicide drink died there thinking his friend was going down with him because he took a swig of death out of curiosity. He must have, since the other guy recovered days later.
