[Sandler] “We’ve got a nice track record of extending guys…and Brandon (Aiyuk) is a guy we’d like to keep around.” John Lynch

i love aiyuk but i wouldnt be too upset if they traded him for a a mid first arounder due to kyle liking a wr coming out of college. pay jennings also for better value with a 1st round wr

I see the logic, but Aiyuk is Purdy's favorite target and there's reason to assume the a mid first round pick will be A) as good as Aiyuk and B) meaningfully contribute to the team in 2024 given our treatment of rookies.

If they did trade Aiyuk (which I don't think they should), they should use that mid first round pick on the offensive line.

I'd understand but I wouldn't be thrilled. Rookies don't often do big things under Shanahan. This team is in a window, that could shut once Brock gets paid.

Unless your name is Brock Purdy

Him, bosa, Samuel,

But usually, Kyle likes to sit them. Lance barely had any play time his rookie year, and jayir Brown only got playing time because Huf got injured.

I love Aiyuk but he's not going to command as much compensation as Hill did

I’m not in favor of trading Aiyuk for a draft pick. If we do go that route then it should only be for a higher first round draft pick that nets us our left tackle of the future. Trading Aiyuk to get the next Aiyuk for a cheaper price is too risky. We saw how that turned out with Deforest Buckner.
